There were sand people that could be found in the beta. Maybe they'll be an easter egg like that.

The problem is the writer hasn't apologised or said anything about it as far as I know, only the editor has acknowledged the mistake. It would have been forgivable and forgotten about if the writer hadn't made out that they had played and enjoyed the previous games when it seems unlikely they have played or finished them.

AC:BF is my favourite in the series so far (gameplay wise). It made unity seem like a huge step backwards.

Hoping 1.5 appears on PS plus. Would be good to play through it again before 3 drops.

@pivot Yeah, gaming laptops are more like a portable PC. You never really use them away from a power point.

A launch bundle with No Mans Sky would sell like crazy.

@death Im pretty sure they just meant there weren't going to be any morpheus exclusive games and any games that support morpheus could also be played on any normal screen. So if NMS supports morpheus, then the entire game should be able to be played using it.

If EB was selling products that dont exist and only offering store credit when someone complains, they'd be breaking Australian consumer laws. Its posiible that it happens, but unlikely if its wide spread.

Its the same as logical technology, just take out the "cal" and the "nology".

@donthate

Problem is, that scenario is completely unrealistic. Yes Microsoft can continue to improve their services, but Sony won't just drop off the radar and stop delivering games. We'll see decent competition for the rest of this gen, but we all know how it ends.

I find the loading screens a convincing reason to avoid death.

@dudebro You cant demo the full experience of any VR game to a mass audience, but you can still try and sell them on the games themselves. The only way vr will take off is if a lot of people become interested in the games it offers and demoing it to 500 people at a booth isnt going to cut it. Im interested to see what they do show for pm on stage.

@rebeljoe14 There's always a few weeks between the game going gold and it releasing. That's plenty of time to create these minor dlc packs. I wouldn't be so pesemistic, yes, they probably could have gotten this stuff into the gold version, but every minute they spent working on it would be time taken off other game assets. I doubt anyone would want that. Also, its free!

More than anything i think they're trying to avoid negative publicity. VR is still in its infancy an the last thing any of the companies with VR products need is the general public to get up in arms over some kid that committed suicide that also played VR games that allowed them to kill themselves.

I've started pre-ordering a few days out from release. Normally I know if I'll like the game or not anyway, but this way I can hold off if any bombs drop.

I think it was IGN that mentioned there would be SP but set on the same maps as multiplayer with different objectives. That's fine by me as long as it's done well. But let's be honest, we're all here for the multiplayer anyway.

If you were logged in before the issue started, you wont have a problem, but no one can sign in right now.

@Gamepard I still play CTR with mates on the ps3 occasionally. Way too much fun.

@Spartan The big advantage of consoles is the fixed hardware. It means that all the software and firmware can be highly optimized. As soon as you start adding variables that level of optimization goes out the window. Ideal world, where everything runs perfectly, yeah thatd be great, but I dont see that ever happening.
